Over a few days of playing CC to think of improvments this is what I have come up with.

Note: I do not care if none of these make it to the final build but I am just sharing them, just incase anyone asks. Also I remember some of these mentioned before but I do not remember who it was.

About the ships: In Cortex Command you feel like the ships are strictly for deployment, every time I use a ship it is for deploying a reinforcement that I bought with it. To make them useful for more situations would be having proper working gunships and also ships that gather funds. If you have played any C&C game at least one faction would have some type of helicopter for generating funds at a supply facility. How about in CC the same could happen, for example; you spot an enemy cargo storage room, so you buy a Cargo Copter, you pick up a crate of weapons/vehicles (if possible)/gold and bring it back to your base.

AI Enemy Brains: It is so easy to rush to the enemy brain and destroy it as soon as the game starts. I know that this has been discussed before but I have thought of a solution.
In Build 15 or later the AI should strategically buying guards plus diggers for base defenses. In B14 every single enemy starts moving directly to the other player’s brain. Some Bots (AI) that are the closest to their base should strategically stay to guard their base.

Vehicles: Many people have been waiting for a new variable or something similar so that there can be ground vehicles. Trains have also been mentioned before such as by me on: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1886&p=24411&hilit=ideas#p24411

Real Time Fluids: One of the most wanted features in CC would be water/other fluids to stack upon each other, meaning they base pool. The fluid particles should also always be active so there can be interaction such as splashes and another action such as drowning clones. Wouldn’t it be amazing standing on a large ledge and a Tsunami enters the scene and wipes out the clones. There could also be boats and inflatables for the Green Clones stopping them from drowning.

Deformable Structures: In CC you can create a tower and dig a huge hole though it but is will stand up as in gravity is not affecting it. Games such as Crysis have prefixed joints, if a certain force pushes the object it will be pushed from the structure. In CC it is possible to do this; it is like the glass that was in Apocalypse Towers. In CC it is possible to do this right now but I have never seen it done with a building/bunker.

Okay that is all I have right now, what do you guys think?

2.Fracturing Ground (breaks into chunks instead of pixels.)

The glass on the towers was an actor, making a building out of it would result in the same effect as trying to stand a clone on a dropship.

Honestly, why are their eight threads of "Ideas for CC!!"?

AAaaAAaaAAAaanyways, I dont think that the whole thing with falling structures would work out to well. If your just mining and you accidently dig under a base, then it would collapse. Although if their were 2 types of diggers, one normal, and one built specifically to do what your talking about, then it would be cool.

Like the madness games? You could have custom parts too. Be easier than the current system. We'd be obsolete though =(.

no you wouldn't be obsolite you could make actors even better looking than now
how about a hotter looking crobo? :grin:

all we non modders could only make simple actors like stickmen

That I want is GAME SAVING!!! I'm tired when I play with friends, play, play, play, and then My head feels pain And I Make My PC off. BUT I WANT TO CONTINUE DIZ PLAY LAT0R!!!! Yeah, I know that there is a Hibernating function, but savegaming is better. Somebody will agree with Me?

A save might take a good amount of room, since for every little pixel it would be saving numerous things.

Nope. We get the parts to make our actors, but they would all act like green clones and you could only use parts that came with the game.

You guys make more parts and code them to act differently...

You COULD do a save and save space by not saving the current motion of a particle. A screenshot, if you will.
