How do I replace computers characters?
I would wanna know how to replace cmp's used character, cos im getting bored shooting robots and skeletons, I wanna more juicy enemies! Like humans or zombies!
I have seen and tried couple others made replacing mod's, but 1. They only put robot characters on old ones, not humanlike things or juicy ones 2. No matter how I try to look their files and try to learn how to do it, I just cannot figure it out, so if someone could help me, thx in advance

There is a skeleton replacement mod that replaces skeletons with green clones out there.

You could delete skellies and robots from Base.rte altogether, but I'm not sure if that's really a smart thing to do...

The same way you do weapons- choose whatever actor you like, copy all of it's miscellanious data in lieu of the actor you are trying to replace, and then change the new thing's name (IWCY's Thec Trooper, for instance) to the name of the thing you wish to replace (Robot 2).

So I just copy for example zombie.rte, rename it to robots and put it into the actors folder? And if its that simple, do I even have to edit any files in zombie.rte?

The game uses actors with the instance names : Skeleton, Green Clone, and Robot 1(2?)
Weapons with the instance names : Pistol, SMG, AK-47, Blunderbuss, Riot Shield
Craft with the instance names : Dropship (MK1?), Rocket MK1
To fight anything else you need to remove the things with these names and replace then with something modified to take that instance name.

Hex editing is also a way to do it, but probably won't be allowed in later builds, and can scerw up other mods.
