Kay, so my friends over and we try to play a little game of 40k, me having like 10 space marines, and like 20 tyranids, (the stuff that comes in the battle for maccrage)
And we tried to play and it was confusing as hell.
I thumbed through both books, Rule Book, and the introduction book, and we didnt have a clue where to start or anything.
I know your guys can move 6', but we cant find the stats for any of the guys, number of wounds, info on cover, how far they can shoot, just the basics.
Can anyone help me/ give me links to a massive noob site for 40k? With extremely basic instructions ect?

I don't know any noob sites, but I can help with the space marines and bolters.

Space marine: WS:4 BS:4 S:4 T:4 I:4 W:1 LD:8 Sv:3+

Bolter: Range:24" S:4 AP:4 Special Rules: Rapid Fire(2 shots @ 12"/only able to fire 2 shots @ 12" after moving/ no assaulting if fired)

AP: if your armour save is equal to, or higher then the AP of a weapon used to shoot at you, you do not get an armour save.

Most codexes for certain races provide gameplay rules.

You guys read any of the books? I just downloaded 19 WH40k books, and I don't know where to start. I've only ever heard of WH before too.
