I wanna start on the stock market, do you guys have any trading and investing tips?

That stock is going nowhere at this point. Microsoft is a fairly safe bet. You'd be better off buying a certificate of deposit--it'd have a better yield.

The key to stock trading is knowing when small companies break it big. Buying stock in Google is probably still a good idea, but imagine if you'd bought it during its IPO.

Same applies to eBay and Microsoft.

My dad is head of finance for an insurance company and frequently buys the financial times or the sunday times to see how they are going. I believe I have some (that my dad owns though) in an investment trust of some sort, (university fund etc.)
