I've installed morrowind on my laptop which has VISTA!, but everytime I load the game I get to the hatch out of the boat you start off in it freezes when I try to go outside.

Works on my Vista. It's not Vista's fault.

Try turning down some settings.

No wait. I remember what happened. You have to update your video drivers.

It is vista... you need a very good pc to run that and most old games now wont run VERY well on vista. So i cant help sorry i don't, and never will, have vista.

I've tried the installing the graphics card you have suggested to me and the one my dad found and both say they are not compatible with the previous and terminated the installation, is there a setting you need to change before installing.

Ignore my earlier post. Perhaps you just need to get a patch for morrowind.

This is 32-bit vista, right? In that case this should work:

If you don't know which one to use, use the 32 bit one.
