Well i was playing at one of my lan's on UT and i found out that if i aim and fire while running i died, didn't get the flag and didn't kill anyone, but when i look towards the enemy base, constantly tap the gesture buttons randomly, while running and jumping towards the enemy base, I get to the base, grab the flag have time to turn around and run back and capp!

When I'm "trying" to be good at a game, I feel like I always do miserable, but when I'm just kind of chillin' and not doing anything and socializing with other players I do better.

Its aggravating, haha.

Nothing sucks like "trying" your hardest to "do better", only to get spawnkilled repeatedly. Nothing else pisses me off so much in video games, haha.

Whether or not I do well usually depends on the map, I guess. Although sometimes I'll go out of my way to snipe or something and "not try", if I just want to chill out.

And music seems to help me do better as well.

It's all psychology (or headology, for you witches out there). Trying and failing brings about a strong negative response, wheras not trying and succeeding brings a highly positive response. Not trying and failing is an expected thing, as is trying and succeeding.

So you're just reacting to the extremes. But hey, if I ever see you in UT, make sure not to try.

Winning or losing in a game affects morale if you lose allot your morale will lower and you will start to try too hard and mess up lowering your morale even more. But when you win allot you start to feel as if you aren't even trying and can easily keep winning. Skill only has a small role.

Then there's when you don't try and still succeed.

Yeah that's called playing against newbs.

The only decent competition I find in a DM is form CS players...

I do WAY better when i try, just pop on some hard rock and zone in. Total ownage

Lol i hate DM i hate GG i hate PRG i like it basics and i OWN! serioously i killed 40 something pleople with only 2 deaths, and they were not nubs id finish the round with like 2-3 hp. I think got kicked for hacks ^_^

i know what you mean. except i like CSSRPG and i owned lvl 1337 admins at level 130 at my old server
