Imagine becoming a mod as a battle on a hill.

If you were being a responisble, helpful member, then you would be at the top of the hill, fighting a downhill battle.

BUT JUST by asking that...

You have turned the tide of the fight, placing yourself firmly at the bototm of the hill, with no more then a stick to protect yourself from an onslaught of nasty implements.

Most of its on the off-topic boards. That realm is like 4chan, anything goes there. And it's not really spam either.
