They don't use a different palette, they use the colors you defined for the material...

It turns out that my unified object structure overid the underlying terrian.
Now another problem:
The sand when knocked loose becomes blood(?!).

I have a problem with materials. i need sand in a bunker. so i go to materials.ini and search for Sand. then i see
Code: AddMaterial = Material Index = 8 InstanceName = Sand Bounce = 0.075 Friction = 0.95 StructuralIntegrity = 15 DensityKGPerVolumeL = 1.6 GibImpulseLimitPerVolumeL = 15 GibWoundLimitPerVolumeL = 0.1 Priority = 6 Color = Color R = 220 G = 190 B = 128 TextureFile = ContentFile Path = Base.rte/Scenes/Textures/Sand.bmp
then i take
R =220
G =190
B =128
then i use that color in the bunkerMat.bmp
then i start the game. everything goes good.
but when i shoot, dig, touch ,... the bunker i get this error
what am i doing wrong?

it doesnt read if there are custom made materials, you gotta use ones that are in game.
