I don't quite get what you want. We are doing it our way.

I don't want anything. Just pointing out that Grif already explained how to make turns.

Re: [Scene Request] Artillery-type turn-based game scenario
So, Progress update. I've migrated the primary actor to the ACrab actor type. We have rounds, shooting, 1 projectile done. Cash is being implemented right now. We should probably see release within 2 weeks Also, anyone can feel free to chip in with some improved sprites Edit: Somewhat updated sprites by CrazyMLC The offer still stands

Re: [Scene Request] Artillery-type turn-based game scenario
Well, doesn't "accuracy" in an artillery game depend on the player's skill?

Taken the sprites from CrazyMLC that I thought were fitting. Improvements are still welcome

Well, some ♥♥♥♥ has come up. And it's not working out as it should. First off, it crashes constantly for no reason whatsoever and secondly aiming is being a ♥♥♥♥♥. I also haven't seen DrLuke in some time

p3lb0x wrote: ...and secondly aiming is being a ♥♥♥♥♥. How are you achieving the aiming mechanism? In a traditional artillery game, you'd simply type in the angle of ascent. Are you using the mouse to control the barrel? I would suggest using either the Left and Right arrow keys or the Mouse Wheel to sorta "tick tick tick" the barrel into the angle you want. For example, you'd have an angle gauge that looked sorta like " [.i.i.i.i.i.]" only curved, and each stroke of the Left or Right arrow keys or mouse wheel would "tick" the barrel onto one of those marks.

I also haven't seen DrLuke in some time I'm sorry, I had to work on school stuff, and everytime I wanted to tell you in irc you weren't there, and then I forgot about it :/ I suggest a complete rewrite. Also I found a solution for the aiming problems I had with changing the aim-angle with arrow key (I think(I hope))
