Post Cortex Command unregisters itself...
I have the game, I BOUGHT the game, I REGISTERED the game, but I restart the computer and now all of a sudden the game is UNREGISTERED and I CAN'T REGISTER IT AGAIN because of a "TOO MANY REGISTRATIONS" message whenever I enter the code again.

What do I have to do, I tried reinstalling it but that didn't work...I'm trying to keep my cool but I'm very close to putting this computer down a tank barrel and slamming the fire button...

Because clearly destroying the only harddrive that can undo what you did makes sense.

I would explain how to undo it myself, but since you have done a reinstall and I am tired it's too complex. As far as I know you would have to get an install in the same place as it was originally and try to use the unregister.bat.

I couldn't have given the key to anyone as I'm alone and how could I screw up somewhere when all I did was restart the computer to finish a system update?

ive only had one problem with Vista, and that was in B15-18 where i couldnt save it in program files.

Ask Data to reset your key. Also, when your computer restarts and you play it when you aren't connected to the internet, it will be unregistered.

I'm thinking it might have not saved his register to the HDD.

Any ideas? I'm waiting for a reply from Data, but if I can get this problem taken care of before he does, that'll be great.
