Same here, that's why I got the desktop. It's better than my old desktop, but still under par. 750mhz processor, 256 ram, 15gb hard drive...real pile of crap. But it's a start, a free start.

I've got a 1.2 ghz processor, and 40 gigs of hard drive space, but other than that it really sucks...

Wow...that's a really low processor power for a 1 gig RAM...Normally they have like on average 2.2ghz.

The gig of ram was an upgrade I think. I bought this on Ebay, and the official specs for this laptop say 512 ram.

Wow...pretty dumb upgrade for a gaming one...most things that require a gig of RAM require 2 ghz of processor power....all 7 games or whatever it is that do..

1 gb ram....

I got a new Macbook, but I feel like I need 1.5 gb or more ram if I am running VMWare Fusion. VMWare Fursion is like parallels, its in a free beta, parallels is a program so u can run windows and mac at the same time.

Anyways:

2.16 GHZ Core 2 duo Merom
1 GB ram
120 GB hard drive
Windows, Mac, Linux

I don't think it was meant for gaming, the previous owner just tried to make it one. Besides, due to the motherboard being...well, Intel, the FSB is limeted to 400mhz, when it should be 533mhz. So, no matter what, this laptop will not be fit for gaming.
