Yeah. Spore was cancelled. And it was really close to releasing!
Discuss.
Mod Edit: As revealed later in the thread, Spore has merely been delayed until fiscal year 2009, which basically means Feb. 2008 onwards. Now calm down.

Ahhhhhhghhhh rage those bastards how dare they! I want them to release the unfinished game now for free. 
Everyone assist me in trying to get them to finish the game by e-mailing the makers.

I thought it was just delayed... Attack of the Show was on one or two days ago and said it was delayed, and considering the difference between live shows and magazines when it comes to "press time", I'd say that AotS probably has the right info. And seriously, it would be rather hard to cancel Spore.

In game informer they said it was "Delayed Indefinately".
They are probably just pulling what Blizzard did with Starcraft 2.
Whatever, 2009 is still WAY to long. At first they said it would be this summer, then november, then the winter, and now a 2009 release date.
Whatever, who hates EA for doing this kind of crap?

I meant that Blizzard said that there would never be a SC 2 and then out of nowhere... POOF!!
But yeah I DEFINETELY hope that they don't pull a Duke Nuke 'Em.
