Post Stupid Shaw Cable
Ok I use Shaw Cable with a Motarolla Surfboard modem and everyonce in awhile (usually at night) it disconnects from the internet for like 10 minutes.

Now I believe my max bandwidth per month is 60GB I don't think I used up that much bandwidth yet. Do you think it could be a problem with the modem or is my ISP just doing maintenance on the servers or something.

If it's at night (how late exactly?), it's very likely going to be maintenance. It should be like 2 AM, though. :-(

That is the modem I have.

It only seems to happen once a week and at night so it is most likely maintenance.

{Edit} Yeah I live in B.C

Its maintenance.

Have you even bothered calling tech support with an outage complaint?

For future reference, call them first, then ask for outside help when the in-house tech support fails.
