Code 10
Just recently, my computer has been showing this strips of light blue lines scattered evenly all over the screen. When I checked the status of my graphic card through the device manager, there is a exclamation mark over my Nvidia GEforce 8800U graphics card indicating that "this device cannot start (code 10)". I tried updating driver, reinstallation and even did a visual inspection of my graphics card but, nothing reveals any fault. EH?
-This is pretty much a copypaste of another post I found on another forum.

Re: Code 10
Maybe you should use google more often. If that doesn't fix it, then try looking around some more.

How the ♥♥♥♥ does he know you did that. Nobody ♥♥♥♥ knows you. Who the ♥♥♥♥ thinks they're so important that everyone on a several hundred user forum knows their specific personality traits and what they might have or might have not done when asking for tech support. Oh wait that's IRC. Anyway have you plugged the monitor into another computer to make sure it's not the monitor?

We can't assume that you've done all the obvious ♥♥♥♥ because that's usually the problem. There's a reason tech support always tells you to reboot and ♥♥♥♥; it often works.

Kelas if you are going to post solely to badly troll, at least put more effort into making your post JUST legitimate enough to not be deleted and forgotten. Also, suggested reading, Mr. Holier-Than-Thou.

No thank you, his card is obviously faulty and you and grif are useless pricks. So I'm not going to read anything that will in any way make me...like you.

Re: Code 10
he was implying you needed more humility.
anyway, describe what you've done. have you followed nVidia's instructions and gone it bios and enabled the option your card needs? because if its giving you an error code it means people have got this problem before, diagnosed it, and found how to fix it. Code 10 is apparently "you have an incorrect BIOS option, fix it", so have you?

So there's no possible way his card could be improperly seated? Or a hunk of dust is connecting two circuits which shouldn't be connected and throwing him an eror? Or that his drivers have been installing wrong due to a bad memory stick? None of that could be wrong, and it just has to be your explanation, which really just sounds like the default "my mom says Im good with computers" answer? At this point in your holy crusade you are so caught up in pointing out the bad ♥♥♥♥ everyone else is doing, you're doing the same bad ♥♥♥♥. And not to mention giving bad advice which could lead to some dude spending a few bucks vs finding a fix for free. Chill the ♥♥♥♥ out.

Re: Code 10
He said he "...even did a visual inspection of my graphics card".
You think he would neglect and ignore a hunk of dust on his video card?
