Return of the Wargame [Game Started, no more slots]
That's right. I'm gonna start a new wargame. Sorry, I'm not back with my Photoshoptastic skills or what not, but a simple MSPaint game, but it won't suck to badly, I promise.
Ok, so basicly, it's gonna be like my Tactiks game, but a bit different. For instance you'll be able to cross waters, and I'll be using Advance Wars sprites.
For those new to the whole Tactiks wargame thing, let me tell you now that it IS NOT some silly "I research ferret catapults which I then tape to my artillery and shoot into the moon
DDDD" infact, there's no research. (For now atleast...) Also every unit you build costs points and has it's own stats. So basicly, it's like Risk, and Civilization had a ugly baby, and this is it.
Here's some low-down on the units:
Infantry (INF) - The basic dudes, quick, cheap and easy. Not unlike your mom. Each of their stats is 1, and can be built at your home capital or at barracks you can build.
Tanks - Heavy duty guys. Don't do much damage, but can withstand alot.
VTOL - Yes, I know, this is the Jet sprite. But that doesn't fly for me. So these are VTOL's that can attack and be attacked by ground units. These sweet dudes can go over two territories at a time. Also they can move over water without the need of a port.
Artillery (ARTY) - Please note that the ATK stated for this guy isn't it's true ATK, it's how much damage it does when it uses it's "special ability" and shoots at units/buildings in a adjacent territory.
Now about moving over water. You have to have your units on a territory that has a "Port" in it and they have to not have moved yet. You'll then move them into the ocean and next turn you'll be able to land them on any land in that section of ocean, or move them to an adjacent ocean. You can not attack or be attacked when at sea until you land.
To take over a territory is easy, just move some of your units over it. However, this does not apply to the VTOL, it can not take land. Also, unless stated otherwise, units can only move one territory per turn.
THE GOAL OF THE GAME IS to kill everyone. To kill someone you have to capture their territory with their capital in it. Thus, if you take someone over you can have muiltable capitals and they'll serve as backups. Do not make alliances with more then 3 nations/factions in them, it just gets lopsided.
YOU GET MONEY BY capturing more land and also getting territories with mines in them. Every other land you have, you will get 1 point/money you can spend. Mines give 1 point for each one you have, and capitals give 3 points. So it goes something like this:
Money = MoneyLeftoverFromLastTurn + (TerritoryNumber / 2) + TotalBuildingBonus

PEOPLE WHO DO NOT GET ON FOR DAYS AT A TIME NEED NOT APPLY TO THIS GAME. I want to get at LEAST 1 turn done each day. AT LEAST!!!!
If you want to join, tell me the color you want, (it has to be available) the name of your nation/faction (please keep it fairly short) and what territory you want to start in .(it must have no buildings in it)
