The reason a lot of people love it (including me) is that it has RPG elements.

There are 70 dofferent Plasmids, and there are tech trees. Every FPS with RPG elements has pretty much sucked so far. Basically, it just works, and it's fun.

I could just as easily say the Halo 3 is your basic shooter.

That's because Halo 3 is your basic shooter and only fanboys truly like the halo series(Seriously the storyline's just boring now).

Omg dofferent plzmidz waow that r rly worth securom aids and is totlly n excuze 4 havin 6 "enemies" if you count dems cameraz.

lol, It's hilarious how your the only person who doesn't like the game. You're allergic to good games :)

Crapper, my dad won't let me get the game all because he heard the word "bi-otch" in the demo (look at my sneaky way of getting around the filter). I told him the Gears has much worse (because he let me buy gears for some reason) but he's still so pissy about it.

Lol it's hilarious how the real reason your dad won't buy it for you is because he doesn't want that securom ♥♥♥♥ near his computer.

Bioshock is a really great game, but its too short, and the lack of new enemies and plasmids is a tad annoying.

My apologies to Tim, who wondering if he would be fighting the same enemies all game. Yes, you kinda' do.

System shock 2 is better, i think. Bioshock had no inventory, and the 'hacking' was more like plumbing. Also, watch Yatzee's review of it (search for zero punctuation on google.)

System Shock 2 was a good game, but this is newer. Honestly, if we decided which games were good based on the ones better than them, we would still be playing Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

I wish I still had my N64. Emulators aren't the real thing. :( Also I don't like to go through Shadow Temple in the least bit. Or water temple. Well, there's a lot I don't like.

The only temple I didn't really like is the mountain fire one. I hated it. The only thing keeping me from stopping there when I replay it is the gorons. <3 gorons.

The water temple was CONFUSING.

I couldn't figure it out to save my life, I had to use an online walkthrough.

Also, off topic much?

OOT has water in it.

Bioshock has water in it.

By this logic, we're completely on topic.
