Probably Resident Evil when my supplies and health are low. Basically like that with any horror game, but I realized something, "survival horror" doesn't have enough "survival," you always end up armed and find more ammo. They need to make more horror games where you are unarmed, and don't end up finding out the truth about everything for a LONG time. And you would always be scared and trying to hide and everything. not all this machine gun crap, thats too easy. Anyone agree?

oh there was a game where the only gun was a shotgun and it had few shots and once it ran out, that was it, no more guns.
can't remember the name.
it was really freaky, you had to kill bosses with brooms and crap.

That sounds too good to be true.

The start of Undying was pretty freaky, until you went into the alternate dimension bit then it lost it's creepyness and turned into another shooter.

Fear made me jump a few times but never gave me the uneasy deep down unsettling fear that stops you from leaving safety of your bed covers to go to the toilet that I got the first time I ever played silent hill.

I played doom when I was a kid and that creeped the crap out of me.

I'll agree with Fatal Frame 2 for the OH ♥♥♥♥ OH ♥♥♥♥ OH ♥♥♥♥ OH ♥♥♥♥ IT'S GETTING CLOSER! moments

I stopped playing undying after Aaron was looking at me from the mirror

haha Undying was pretty genius at first, especially with the ghost vision thing, but it lost most of the scariness after a couple hours gameplay.

There's a great bit with a huge family portrait, when you switch to your ghost vision all of the family in the portrait are monsters.

Just remembered how bad the main characters accent is though...

Real games that have made me crap my pants:
Doom 1: I was 3 when I played this. So stop laughing.
Trespasser: I was so used to a regular shooter that I used up all of my ammo on the first dinosaur, I had no idea how to defend myself and I basically ran round the place screaming, I found a seemingly safe place and rested, when I heard a big stomp behind me- *EAR PIERCING GIRLY SCREAM!*
Quake 3: You think this isn't scary? Try playing on "the bouncy map" against Xaero on Nightmare. He is everywhere...
Cortex command: Only once, my friend was using the "camoflage clone" and scattered them all over the map, It was seriously freaky, you had to look both ways, all the time, and worse, we agreed on using clones only. He didn't tell me he would use those damn camo clones.

Imaginary games that would have made me crap my pants if I didn't know what was going to happen. (I make up games in my head, none of the real games can match the awesomeness of my imaginary games.)
Light: This game had a simple idea, if you looked, at any light source, a star, a light, a screen, even the sun, you would die. Sounds frustratingly hard and not scary at all? What if you heard a huge scream, saw a freakish monsters face for about half a second and had to fight monsters along the way aswell? Yeah, thats what I thought.

@3 Solid: lol

If only I had the ability to make a current-gen Survival Horror game, I would scare the crap out of all of you. I know some pretty good tricks.

I think the scariest game I have played was when I played the F.E.A.R Single-player demo, it was freaky >_>
Didn't have the same effect though when I played the full version...
And another scary game I once played was the flash game Exmortis <_<

Oh, I forgot one... 2...

1. Halo 2: Online, juggernaut, invisibility, extra damage, more health and better defense for the juggernaut. It was impossible to know when he would strike, worse, sword was automatically the secondary weapon. So he would sneak up behind you with a battle rifle, then you would hear a hiss behind you and BAM! Your dead.

2. Indigo prophesy. Awesome game.
