I'm honestly just trying to think of ways to mass kill off these buggers.

If they could swim then they could easily attack the non-land connected bases. But if they can't, then putting them in the ocean is just as effective as killing them. They'll be stuck.

[insert normandy joke here]

[insert normandy joke here] I don't sink to the bottom automatically when I'm in water, I don't know about you. Also they'd get swept around by the current, but of course the current would pull them further away from shore. Only a couple would get washed back up, nowhere near the beginning amount.

Re: Alright, Gentlemen, Listen Up.
So, in theory, unless we learn that they have swimming skills or something, a mass water-dump is a good strategy to slaughter lots of them without using many resources. That is, under the assumption that building a bridge doesn't take much effort.

How do you get them into the water?

Build a bridge to one of the island bases, while they're on it we destroy the bridge, making them plunge to their boring life/death. =D EDIT: So, assuming this will work, would that mean that we have a way to eliminate many of them easily? This would gain us a foothold to get towards the other bases and such, and maybe even eliminate enough to gain safe passage to the other bases.

Re: Alright, Gentlemen, Listen Up.
....Your retarded.
"O HAY WATER!!! ITR WILL DISPLACE THEM!!!! LETS USE WATER!!!"
If they are on a bridge, and fall in, they will wash up on either shore. Unless the bridge is miles long, it won't do ♥♥♥♥. Maybe, maybe halve them.
What do we have in terms of military equipment, specifics. Turrests, .50 cal emplacements, body armor, ect?
We need to find a way to get a stronghold of sorts, and reel in all the survivors.
But, for now, re-enforce our current positions. Try walls, but slanted walls.
Like this ___\___
That way they can't climb it for a while [until bodies pile up

A simple but useful idea. Dauss, I stick with my earlier commands, but change the wall enhancement to slanted walls as stated by Mr. X here.

Re: Alright, Gentlemen, Listen Up.
If you build like that, it'll become unstable, and you won't be able to shoot at them from the top.

Re: Alright, Gentlemen, Listen Up.
Slanted walls would take approximately 3 days to create for each base, but would reduce the chances of base infiltration. However, doing this at base D or B will set back the airstrip and vehicle plant construction by 3 days.
Also, the military component of each base are equipped with standard assault rifles and side arms, along with whatever vehicular support each base has been defined as having.
