2000 is a mite old to use, but plenty of people still put it into operation. If you keep it well maintained, antiviral software, antimalware and don't do anything stupid, it could actualy be safer than XP. Y'know, security through obscurity .

I use Vista. I like it more than XP, Mac, or Linux. I'm a gamer, so obviously macs are out of the question. Also, "I prefer to pay an expensive ticket and have a plane ready to fly at the airport, instead of having to put it together myself and providing my own fuel" (I didn't come up with that myself, read it somewhere ), which is why I don't use Linux (Not that I don't like linux - I'd use it if I had a trained monkey to set up my games on it for me)
