C-96, actually. You can tell by the magazine housing and lack of the toggle-lock system.

Re: Battle Of The Factions
There's different makes of Lugers. One of them happens to look like the one pictured.
Jesus christ, is it even possible for me to make a comment and not cause multiple people to trip over their own asses in an attempt to prove me wrong?

Shoot the commander, then run up to the tank, open the hatch, and hijack it. Then use its radio to call your allies so you can attack their main position.

Re: Battle Of The Factions
Check around, see if anyone's watching. If not knock the commander out (preferable up close with that handy shovel of yours), and if at all possible grab the luger. If you're lucky you might be able to capture him.

But anyway, GREAT art, and also, what program do you use, Open Canvas? I use Photoshop with a graphics tablet on a Mac mini.

Re: Battle Of The Factions
first line translates nicely (we were defeated commander) but then I get a problem...
either there's something wrong with your german (which is likely if you used a translator) or there's something wrong with the translation; babel fish & dictionary.com: They left me during last mark. google translate says: They have asked me during the last time. freetranslation.com says: They left me during the last time.
so I assume it is probably "they have FAILED me for the last time"? translating that gives me (same order, yes dictionary.com is apparently using the same translator as babelfish):
sie haben mich während des letzten Mal VERLASSEN - your translation I see... use babelfish? Sie haben mir NICHT zum letzten Mal Sie haben mich zum letzten Mal VERSAGT - I trust this one as it the only one to translate back properly & is almost the same on babel fish and dictionary.com with the exception that it says malfunctioned instead of failed, and google has it mostly right except it is refuses instead... and is at the very end of the sentence.
if you are using a translator the thing I always do is translate it then translate the translation back to english and see if it matches up... and it seems I have also done a little experiment through trying to solve this mystery on which the best translator is: freetranslation.com

Re: Battle Of The Factions
I usually translate it into German then translate it back into English to make sure its right and although it was weird (I got they left me during last mark) I though some wrong German was better han no German.
It's meant to be you have failed me for the last time.
