Re: Cloverfield
Played backwards the voice at the end of the movie says either Its still alive or We're still alive. I think it says its though.
HEY JJ WHY NOT JUST BE UN-CRYPTIC AND TELL US AT THE END THERE WILL BE A SEQUEL.

Re: Cloverfield
That isn't the monster. It's the concept of it and the concept of it's "louse." The monster you see is much different, and so are the louse. (louse is the pural of lice, just FYI, I said "louses" before I remembered lol) Shade's is better, but it doesn't show the entire beast. If someone got some shots of the beast while they were in the helicopter, that would've been best. Oh, and thanks guys for the information about whats past the credits. Seems like a sequel will come eventually... and it sure as hell better be more satifsifing, and have more information!

Wildstar wrote: It looks like a fricken' wale. Thats not it, it looks more like the monsters from Resistence: Fall of Man. Except it has a bunch of tiny arms on it's belly. Also, the parasites, were only about as big as a dog and looked like zerglings/antlions. Quote: Hate theaters...But I want to see this movie. EDIT: Found .gif. That's the monster as seen at the end, however at the movies it's brighter and more detailed. Also, you can't see the entire body. EDIT: Also, after the credits, a voice that sounds slightly distorted says "Help us". But when played backwards it very clearly says "It's still alive". See it on: http://youtube.com/watch?v=m1k7Tg0jgJgIn that one, it plays the reversed version first, then the one in the credits.

A little bit, but it doesn't have horns on his back, and his head is a different shape. Quote: I say again, Anyone catch the Star Trek trailer? Yes, the actor that plays Sylar from Heroes is starring as Spock. I'm probably only goin to see that movie because he's in it. EDIT: This is much more accurate. http://www.slashfilm.com/wp/wp-content/ ... erart1.jpg

Re: Cloverfield
No it's not tucker. Please, contribute with capslock off or leave. Thank you.
It's not off-topic, seeing as the OP asked about it and it relates to the director.

Re: Cloverfield
Okay you two, calm down.
I'd like to say this movie is in fact epic. But what I don't like is people don't get it.
It's not a monster movie, so much as it's telling a story of the survivors of the initial attack. So people get upset saying that, "Oh, you hardly saw any of the monster, it sucked!"
I thought there could have been more of Clovey, but what you saw was cool.
And I also think it looked so much the the Chimera from Resistance: Fall of Man. As soon as I saw it's face (When they ran into the subway tunnel) I thought so.
How about at the very end, when they're at Conney Island, what exactly does the thing that drops into the water look like? I was looking to the left, knowing something was going to be there...

Re: Cloverfield
Perfectly calm, m'man. Just dislike people jumping into arguments. Otherwise, anyone feel like reviewing the move in it's entirety/providing a good pic of the monster?
