As far as I can tell, I'm doing my part to make you people better people. It's like... Some people don't get jokes.

Even so, most of the "jokes" are also really mean, and people don't get that it's just the internet.

How about this. Personally, I find it insulting to my beloved community that we would need someone to settle personal disputes. That's just stupid. That's what the mods are for. They ban people who are mean. How about instead of some person with, in my view, barely and cleverly concealed pure writhing hatred for half of these people fixing our problems, everyone just listens to Jammin' by Bob Marley once or twice a day?

While Bob Marley may be an elegant solution, I don't think it exists as a long term solution.

You appear to be insinuating that I express some deep hatred for the majority of these forums. That's not true, and, for the second time today, I have to ask someone to devise a test that would enable me to prove my intentions.

When it comes down to it I dont see a person like this being of any use....I mean, Really, Not only those he/she have no forum respect, But most of the forum goers dont even know he/she exists! If this was to be viable, It would have to be someone like....Electroclan. WAIT! Yes, Thats right, Electro is ALREADY doing this, But has the extra back up of Mod powers and is a highly respected member of the forum. This is not needed. People like the way the forum is...When stupid fools *Cough*Whitty*Cough*Cough* come along and make crappy mods the trolls, Eg. THOR and Grif, Flame them until they make better mods or leave. While when two people end up in a Flame war, Electro or one of the other proper Mods comes along and deals with it. Simple!

Ahh... but the point of CUFA is not to get rid of members, it is to make members that are trolls and flamers be kinder with the rest of the forum community.

More specifically, protecting new users from said trolls and flamers in order for them not only to have a better forum experience, but to also promote the distribution of Cortex Command.

You see, many new members feel uneasy in a new and unfamiliar environment, they will be defensive and acting with hostility towards them will easily scare them away.

Partaining to your stated "removal" of members: I want a clean forum community, if certain members refuse to clean up there behavior, harsher consequences may need to take place. Sometimes it takes a ban to catch peoples attention and to let them know that they are not invincible, and that there are consequences for their actions.

I feel that what you are doing, trying to get forum goers to better communicate with each other (that is your intended purpose, correct?), seems to have been done several times to no avail.

Whether your method or my method work does not matter, I only want the forum to be a better place.

Well now we know who the alt belongs to. One of those 12-year-old idiots who needs to be "cleaned" from the forum.

Anyway, just for the record, all the rest of the mods and admins are trying to clean this place up, Electroclan just happens to be A) The main guy to tell us what to clean up and B) Very good at cleaning
And also, if one more person accuses him of being an alt without proof gets a warning. According to any sources I have, including an IP check, he's nothing more than a new face around here.

His appearance and stance is indicative of an alt, but, as LTB said, there is no evidence that he is.

Anyways, We'll see what happens.

How hard is it to believe that this guy is a new guy? If you've learned what assholery means on another forum, it usually means the same. After a few hours of lurking, you kinda get the feel of what the forum is like. But yeah, it's pretty rare that someone posts a topic like this. From what I can understand, he's planning to help out the nubbins by telling them what they're doing wrong and how to fix it, which is what everyone should be like. It would make the forum a better place. At least, that's what I think. I've never seen a forum like that. But yeah, where flaming, elitism and assholery won't cut it, friendliness must be the way to go. Ah well, even if he decides to help out nubs, and even if he was the only one doing it, who would complain? Of course, we'll have to see him in action first, but if he's like this all the time, I can't see why anyone should have a problem.
