Re: Rpg suggestions?
Oblivion is no, Morrowind is yes. Quick list why Oblivion is fail- Leveling system takes the point out of leveling up. Every single dungeon is prefabricated and boring. They all look the same, no originality. The amount of unique weapons is very very slim, they don't even have custom models. The whole area looks the same, its all stupid generic foresty terrain. By level 25, every fsking bandit in the game has full Daedric (the best) armor, and weapons.

Re: Rpg suggestions?
As much as I love oblivion, I agree with every single one of those points.
Thankfully all of them can be solved by downloading mods.

Re: Rpg suggestions?
I think Oblivion had a lot of problems, and I'm sure that no mod truely fixes the leveling system.
But it was stull fun for a while.

Re: Rpg suggestions?
I don't even like leveling, but since Oblivion uses a flat damage sytem last time I checked, you sort of need to have SOMETHING.
What I wanted was dynamic levels, so that skills degrade when you don't use them... and stats would do the same thing.

SO FREAKING TRUE! I am pretty sure you could play through the entire game at level 1. That, is, just, wrong. Alenth Eneil wrote: I've never played Morrowind.
Now I really want to... Most people consider Morrowind better then Oblivion, so I suggest you try it out.

Remember guys, not everyone has a PC to download mods for. Like myself, I only have a 360.

The Witcher is a really good RPG. It's a fair bit more mature than games like Oblivion, though.

Although this is really awkward, if you happen to own a gamecube, and memory card, or a wii, gamecube controller, and memory card, Tales of Symphonia will be the funnest RPG you ever play.
