W00t!! I got off of the first island!!

And then that gay pirate took me to a second island... crap.

It feels so cool when you get off of the first island.

If you want a hint as to how to get off the first island then highlight below, if not, then don't highlight:

Start building random things, such as a treehouse (hint hint). You may hypthetically find a lock pick that opens a box on the northish side of the island... I'll let you figure it out from there...

Unreal Software? Didn't these guys develop Counter-Strike 2D? If so, downloading. CS2D is lots of fun, and the map editor is plain awesome.

Anyway, the game is in german. Is there an english version somewhere?

If there is and I like the game, I'll become an advertiser... I know lots of forums, and I can make banners and such too.

...The english download is right under the german one. It even says "english version at *insert something I can't remember here*".

Anyway, I can't figure out how to get stuff out of your hand once it's in your hand... is there a way to do this? The poorly translated in-game stuff is worthless, anyone have an F.A.Q. or basic guide to the controls?

@TheFatSandRat: just use the scroll button. Or just press 0 on your keyboard to go back to empty handed.

Also: for people that are having trouble with this game, go to the single island on the menu, then choose the level called "Survival Guide". That should answer all of your questions.

Who has gotten to the second island yet?

I only played it for a little bit. I've just built a second shelter next to a water spring because it's easier to get water if you sleep next to it.

Spoilers:

Children of the sea are clams/starfish. Just collect them on the island and literally drop them on top of the rock, then hit E. It can be 20 seasars 5 clams 21 seastars 4 clams etc they just have to equal 25. I've beaten the game.

After you get to the next island after the pirates', there is a cave(safe sleeping) and a golden bow/arrow set. I suggest you keep an axe and some healing things along with you, as you'll need it. Because you'll be getting fractures a lot you'll need to have a branch and a vine on you at all times(Emergencies, if you're stealthy enough you won't need it :3)

I like the game, but I wish the graphics were better (its indie, so can't expect much), and that you could dig the dirt/had a physics system.
Then it'd be pure rapture, and I'd never leave it.
Yes, I love survival games.

Anyway, I can't get off the first island. I die before I can do anything. There are only 4 animals which drop hides and I need ten hides to make a tent. What am I supposed to do?
And don't say "wait for them to respawn," because I can't survive the first night without sleep.

You can sleep without shelter. It damages you a bit, because the animals attack during the night, but you'll live to the next day.

work at mid night sleep at mid day half of each it helps a lot!

As other people said, you don't need shelter to sleep.

I would, however, try and sleep in a tree. The curved one right next to the beach is the one that I used.

Also, I didn't build a tent, I built a shelter, it worked out fine.
