I agree that it belongs here, but I think the reason was that it was related to some mod Darlos made that had a lazer gun in it.

I learned to mod the laser power regulators off some website, but you are 100% sure to kill the diode faster that way.
I gave up after two killed and one damaged and bought from china, and it came in a box claiming to be a cell phone charger.
It was technically called a converter, and it DOES convert states of energy I suppose...

I'd want to mount on on my CNC machine and use it for simple laser cutting, or soldering with paste.
(hey look I rationalized buying it, that means I should right?)

Still waitin' for that link...

Darlos' Darkstorm lasers is meant to be something else, actually, but okay.

This is not a good thing. This is a very bad thing. There are way too many tween morons running around with their lasers flashing cars on the motorway as it is, and now they can not only blind the drivers but set fire to their eyebrows. Jesus, in the military, sure, but not in the hands of the public, please. I'm going to be a killjoy here and hope for a swift ban.

Whatever the cause is, the effect is a solid blue beam that can kill pretty much any unarmored target.

Except the laser Darlos's Darkstorm lasers are meant to represent aren't really limited to killing unarmoured targets.

Actually, it's entirely possible that you would instead flash boil the water in his face, trapping a large amount of pressurised gas in his face, resulting in large gaping wounds.

You're more likely to cut/blind someone with one of these than 'splode parts of their face.

Apparently you'll need a ♥♥♥♥ welding helmet to even think about using this thing. Jesus Christ, looking at the dot blinds you.

A part of me really wants this laser, and another part wants to stay the ♥♥♥♥ away from it. It's like a 20 km long blue lightsaber (♥♥♥♥ yeah), but the amount of health hazards is ♥♥♥♥ unbelievable (oh god no). I intend to keep my eyesight, so i think i'll stay clear of it for now. :U
