Hello rgb, it seems you don't even know what real anime is. You seem to have listed a whole bunch of dog shit only a :hardgay: man would enjoy. But, you see, I actually know what I am talking about.

I'd say anime is better as most of the old cartoons give me an odd feeling. Most tom and jerry episodes give me the feeling that something is wrong in the world or I'm high, it's rather odd. It's just unsettling.

The new cartoons are all about morals and how cool technology is. They really suck.

Here is a list of anime which are greater than any cartoon I have ever watched:

Magipoka
Lucky star
Akira
Kashimashi
Higurashi
Dokuro-chan
Fruits basket
I could go on forever...

Notice how I did not list any of that mainstream beetle dung that people call anime? DBZ is not anime. Naruto is not anime. Bleach is not anime. One-piece is not anime. These are all kid's shows, and the general consensus is that if you like them you are a yaoi fangirl/boy(See: Faggot).

You can't claim to like anime when you haven't even watched higurashi. You are a heathen.

Edit:

Get up against the wall with the cartoon lovers, the firing squad is coming.

I like cartoons.
Anime is a subgenre of cartoons.
The term covers both types of media.

I rather like Spirited away and Steamboy, but to be honest, Tom and Jerry was (and still is) the most amazing cartoon ever created.

I think it got stopped being shown in Britain because it teaches kids to smash cats in the face with snooker cues (Which is what made it good). Instead now all we have is bloody Tom and Jerry kids, I would rather eat my own sick.

I prefer animé (spirited away beats snow white any day :) TBH snow white as a character is slightly animé anyway) animé is more professional whereas cartoons are more simple shaped characters.

I'm sure we can all say that cartoons are easier to draw than huge-ass mechas without getting into an argument?

Also it depends what kind of animé there's the real stuff and the American/t.v stuff (like pokemon) the latter of which I would say is more cartoony than animé anyway.

also you say
Quote:
A: Japanese Draws Animé. Americans Draw Cartoons.
but Japanese actually draw manga, whereas cartoons can be either drawn pictures or animated.

EDIT: I suggest that you get the studio ghibli collection, it simply owns.

I haven't watched anime in years because the characters are generic and drive me nuts. But maybe it's changed, right? :|

Male Character: I can't do it. I'M NOT STRONG ENOUGH! *cries some more*

Me: Go lop his head off you pussy.

Female Character: Go [name]! You can do it!

Me: Funny how you're only good for cheering on the male lead and large breasts. Japan, lol.

Male Character: War is agony.. so much death..

Me: No ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥. You're a soldier, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

TONIGHT ON ANIMESHOW, WE DRAG OUT ONE SIMPLE FIGHT OVER NINE EPISODES. SEVEN IF THE PRODUCER WILL STOP WHIPPING US, SEND HELP.

You get my point. Also, I don't like cartoons either.

EDIT: Also waiting for raging weeaboo to come over and tell me that crap only happens on "little kid anime". I SEE IT EVERYWHERE!

I'll be open about it, i love cartoons, namely Disney, Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes.
Now, i know that not all of Disneys stuff is the silly slapstick humor stuff, but
i like the cartoons that have it.
Also, i do NOT (Several thousand underlines) like violent cartoons. Period.
I'm not talking about the classic cartoon violence, but like "normal" violence and death.
---- Start of opinion ----
In my opinion, cartoons are supposed to make you laugh, not to make you sit
on the edge of your couch because someone is about to fall into a stone grinder.
---- End of opinion ----
So yeah, silly cartoons, that's just me.

All the rest only happens in little kid anime.

And this hardly happens at all in the real anime anime. There is no é in anime robolee. You must be dyslexic.

Lucky star is real anime. You don't see anything you put there electroclan. You're so silly.

It should be obvious what I prefer.
@Daman:Thanks! I was getting bored.
@krumbs talking to shook: He means like really really bloody like bleach or DBZ or something like that. He doesn't like those. He seems like "Meh, I can live with this" when It comes to Tom and Jerry.

Eww, Gundam ♥♥♥♥ Seed.
Dude, watch 0079 or you're not a real /m/an.
Oh wait- you probably haven't undergone puberty (and then the transition into a nerd who watches mecha shows) yet. Here's my suggestion- Leave the forum for a while, come back when you're at least 13, like the ♥♥♥♥ registration says.
What I did was wrong, but it felt soooo right.
