Ok, some findings. This link has a version of the map that is very old. 1980 is the date.

The map has several key differences on the site.

Points missing from the site's map: E,G,H

I'm not certain what date it is now in the storyline, but this may actually be in the future. E G and H were destroyed completely, or found to have nothing there? Or maybe it's in the past and they weren't built yet?

Actually, I checked it out and was wondering if this was the past or future, also.

I would also like to mention something. The United States has quite a few nuclear aircraft carriers. I'd assume that they are still operational. If we could find one of them, well... I don't think I have to mention how large of an asset that would be.

Also, is GPS still operational? That would come in very handy.

The Treaty of 2008 or something banned all nukes in the game. But I saw some Discovery channel show that there was a h bomb that was ejected and wasn't armed. It's somewhere in the sand in florida. I think GPS should still be operational, unless zombies use anti-space missiles. Or have planes, which I doubt. Cars should still be useable. Reinforce them so that zombies can't get in, and run them over. Maybe stockpile gasoline, go to cities, get some more Gas, Batteries, Medical stuff.

He said nuclear AIRCRAFT CARRIERS.

As in, Nimitz class giant ships, no nuclear WEAPONS involved.

Okay then, if they have the carriers, then they can try to find and use that lost H-Bomb on the zombies. And I'm pretty sure there are a few sunken nuclear submarines.

Hmm, Might have missed something seeing as there are so many posts and I AM quite lazy.

What about Russian nuke Subs in the arctic/antarctic? I do know they exist somewhere.

If yes, we need teams to do some pole scouting. There should be some polar bases anyway.

Even if you find the lost H-Bomb, you'll have to get a bomber to fit it too, then you need to arm it. :???:

Commander Peterson:

This 'lost' H bomb was found in the year 2009 gentlemen.

It was disarmed with the EPA of 2018, alongside the Russian nuclear arsenal.

We have too many bases with unknown stasis, and must investigate as soon as possible.

Once Facility's D and B have their airstrips and vehicle plants built, will we have enough materials to even build the vehicles, planes, and helicopters...and even then, what about fuel for this craft?

Gentlemen I propose we solve both of these concerns by attempting to branch out to bases of unknown fate. We need to have A send a chopper to investigate E, D to send a chopper after the storm to search out G, and possibly after D searches G, send a recon chopper to H. If enough survivors are found and the base is currently operational, we have gained a new facility. If the facility has close to no survivors, we must attempt to extract, or reinforce these brave few souls. If the facility has any reanimated or no population whatsoever, we can do a clean sweep of the facility, and after word transport materials and fuel to the bases in need of them, (D and B).

You will find a more detailed plan in the pamphlets, commanders. All of humanity rest's on our hands..we must do our best.

You may want to check Peterson's messages for a hint as to the password. I'm letting you all have the fun of figuring out this on your own.

Hint: It almost doesn't make sense. At all.

Dauss, use this new information to accelerate the vaccine research if possible.

There's also something off about one of the other research logs...

The sheer volume of multipal sites making this game move ahead and giving hints is awsome,I suggets we fir all walls with automatic flame throwers, that, when turned on target all creatures outside the gate and incinerate them.

Note that zombies should be able to freeze quite easily, being extremely naked. Polar regions are thus a valuable asset considering that we can warm ourselves and they can't, at least not very meaningfully.

The arctic regions will cost alot in the way of resources to transport everyone there AND make a base AND get all the supplies needed to sustain that base. Nevermind the arctic isn't well known for being the most resource rich place around...

True, but it might be the most foolproof way to ensure safety.

At the cost of nearly all our resources just to get there, and then to heat the survival shelters for how long?

The rest of eternity? Until the winter passes? Until the zombies go away? When is that?
