The game with Morte, the talking, floating skull that wants to have sex with corpses?
Damn that was an awesome game.

So yeah, we need KRRRRRimpy without a body. Trust me. Skulls without bodies are much more hardcore than normal skellies.

First: Too many game referances, the "Da da da daaa!" was from Legend of Zelda, and I tried that in one of my CYOAs and got yelled at... XP
And the *put put put put* of your jet-pack reminded me of the sound Tails from Sonic makes.

Second:
quickly pick up one of the skelly bodies and then duck under the rock while fixing Krimpy's head onto the body. When the tank fires, run like crazy to your ship while it reloads and then turn around and bomb the Death Fortress like you should have in the first place, then tell us the whole story of why you did this in the first-place and ask Krimpy to finish his story on why he is different from the other skellies.
