Hyperbol: Threadspace
SoooOOOoooOOOooo... Ever watch Star Trek? Did you notice that their battles are mostly comprised of strategy, and "applying energy from thrusters to shield"? Ever noticed that their games are pretty much your standard space shoot-em-up? Ever wanted to participate in those epic strategic battles? Ever wanted to just strangle me? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you most likely just want to strangle me! But... seriously, Hyperbol: Threadspace (or is it Threadspace: Hyperbol?) lets you partake in the strategy that those Star Trek games never let ypu do. While it isn't related to Star Trek at all, you'll feel like your with Spock, while you deploy defensive "Repulsor's" and stealthily change "Forms". Ok, that sounded like a crappy advertisement, but it really is a fun game. And teh Pix for teh Clix are right here: The URL is right here: http://www.hyperbol.com/Also remember that the game's demo is available on Steam. It's quite fun, at least try out the demo. If you get the full game through Steam, you'll also get the Map Editor. So give it a try, then give it a vote!

Re: Hyperbol: Threadspace
So like... It's pretty fun and all for a demo. But it kinda gets old after a while. I wouldn't buy it. The whole building your weapons part is kind of odd, because it takes almost no time to do so, so you get all of the weapons anyways. I think it might be better if you could pick and choose just a few from all of them, and that way it would be more of a team-based game, because each person can use only certain weapons. Still, it's got a lot of customizability, though it seemed that custom stuff on your ship didn't really help in a tide turning manner, it's kind of nice.

Not exactly my cup o' tea there... Seems interesting enough, but I'm not gonna try it...
OFFTOPIC: Jay Corp is semi-disbanded. You may take the banner out of your sig as I have done.
EDIT: For sake of the thread, after trying it, I agree with Tim.

Yeah, the game is kinda hit and miss for some people. The thing that hooked me was the "faction wars" that are online. Even though it seems weird, once you understand it it's fun.

The official steam joke, 'what's the difference between Steam and a beehive, steam has more bugs.' That's why. And Steam in general hates me for warez etc.

Re: Hyperbol: Threadspace
I DON'T HAVE ANY GODDAMN MODERATOR POWERS FOR ♥♥♥♥'S SAKE DO YOU THINK YOU, MUSHROOSHI, OR ANY OF YOUR OTHER WEEABOO FRIENDS WOULD SURVIVE TEN SECONDS IN A DRLFF THAT I CONTROLLED?
Also, that is the stupidest statement I've heard in a while; so, rather than an autoprune, mods should just automatically lock any topic older than a week?
LEARN TO FORUM, PLEASE.
You do not necro topics. You do not respond to flames. You post with punctuation, grammar, and spelling. You ARE A CONTRIBUTIVE USER.
On all four of those counts I > you. Have fun with your ban, whenever you get it.
