Post Re: I-doser
People only associate the sound of the ocean with a beach because that's where they first heard it.

I'm sure if your first experiences with the sound of the ocean was floating around lost at sea, baking under the hot sun, and rotting in your own skin, you wouldn't associate the sound of the ocean with happiness.

If I'm playing a binaural beat, and I win whatever game I'm playing, or I find a 20 dollar bill, I may associate that binaural beat with happiness.

Exactly. But you're not supposed to be doing things while listening to the binaural beat. You're supposed to be laying down in a bed with headphones on while listening to it, and concentrating on it. So it'd be kind of stupid to be listening to it while walking around. Plus I doubt your memory is good enough to remember the i-doser 160 minute long tracks. There aren't really any tunes to them at all. Nothing to associate with anything unless you want to count associating utterly random beats with something. But then they'd all have the same effect on you, as they all sound pretty much the same.
