Re: I have an OCD with popping my bone joints
Meh, I do it too... In fact, I just did it. I'm trying to break the habit, but only because it disturbs people. My knuckles seem fine...

I love how it disturbs people. It's one of the main reasons I still do it.

Re: I have an OCD with popping my bone joints
Come to think of it, my knuckles do sometimes sort of 'radiate' with pain...
Not so much a pulse as it is a smooth movement.
On a side note: Lol, I said come.

It's not like my neck gets bigger when I "crack" it.

Two completely different things. Quoting Wikipedia Wikipedia wrote: Physical mechanisms : ... 2.rapid stretching of ligaments (<-neck) and as for dangerous : Wikipedia wrote: habitual knuckle crackers are more likely to have hand swelling and lower grip strength. So just don't do it. That simple .

Nah, that happens to all heavy typers/mousers/gamers - it's called CTS or an RSI-type injury . Be nice on the joint for a while and get better hardware. But seriously. Lay off the finger-crack, it's highly addictive and kills your ability to grip objects.

Re: I have an OCD with popping my bone joints
Same here, whenever I don't pop my knuckles, I can't move them very far, they appear stiff.
I also pop my neck for the same reasons as my knuckles.
