well i was just on the internet watching something on IGN, when something starts playing...sounded like a commercial for something...
so i quickly quit out of everything, and it still is playing.
i wait for a while and then it ends...
i got a little freaked out because i almost know it is a virus or spyware program.
i bring up the Task Manager and look at my computer's processes and see no unusual programs..
any suggestions of what i should do?

Apply magnet to hard drive...

Or, go on google, and systematically run through every process name in your processes list.

I had a virus that rearranged my process list every second or so.
Not fun -.-

But yes, make sure they are all legit, and then some.

already have, also i ran a virus/spyware scan and nothing showed up.
it seems everything is back to normal again though...weird...

Or of course you could be hallucinating.

Once a whisper came from the screen, it was either a child or a girl. I could never work out what it said. That was just insanity though. Though I did turn down the volume just incase.

Maybe it came from something other than the computer?
