United States Marine Corps. (Update 1/24/10)
Hey guys, I know about the "first mod rule", but I figure that since I plan on improving and working on this mod for quite a while, I can post it in its current state. (New Update)
==United States Marine Corps.==
Rifleman- The simplest of soldiers, reliable and powerful, equipped with a M16A2, M9 Pistol, and two M63 grenades.
Gunner- A rifleman equipped with the M249 SAW and M9 pistol capable of extreme direct fire.
Grenadier- A rifleman capable of both direct and indirect fire, equipped with the M16A2, 203 Launcher, M9 pistol, and two M63 grenades. (Alt fire now functional, use Pie menue+ Gold Dig AI)
Designated Marksman- A rifleman capable of precise support fire, equipped with the M16A1 United States Marine Corps Squad Advanced Marksman Rifle (or SAM-R), a M9 Pistol, and two M63 grenades. (Maybe M14 later, the SAM-R was just easier to sprite
)
Fireteam Leader- The highest ranking unit, equipped with a M16A2 Aimpoint, M9 Pistol, and two M63 Grenades.
Change Log:
-Added functionality of 203 Launcher for the Grenadier, thanks to CaveCricket's Dual Weapon Mode Template.
-Added two new units, DM and FT (I might have forgotten to change the Fireteam Leader name...)
-Two new weapons to go with those units (M16A2 SAM-R, and M16A2 Aimpoint)
-Tweaked offsets on helmets.
-Tweaked M249 sprite.
To Do:
-Tweak more offsets
-Maybe add the M14
-Improve sprites (M9, M63 and M249)
-Add more grenades (Incendiary.. Smoke (how would that work?
)... Flashbang (...?)
-Add field dressing and K-Bar knives
-More units (Medic and Anti-Tank next... after that.. maybe Anti-Air and Engineer...)
-Freakin HELICOPTER for craft... No idea how that would work... never made Craft before...
-FIX the stupid M63 Grenade
