A bit off topic 3-solid.. although I agree.

But maybe you guys have something interesting there, all of these factions could have been different national powers breaking off after the resources on the planet were depleted. Thusly their technologies evolved a bit around their cultures, or accents.

I think I'm off topic now too.. Crobos rock!!

Thanks capn, good to see the new CRobos.
I love the big painter weapon, it's so cool.
The only thing I can add, I think the old dropship looks too slick to be dumped. Maybe it just needs a paintjob?

I'm guessing you're re-doing your model lign up Capnbubs, and my only recommendation is make a more noticable difference between your current units, they're all very similar.

good mod though, i still think your sprites are probably the best out there.

the reason the current units are very similar is because there are only two units in the mod. the different choices are just presets with a certain weapon to save time when ordering more troops.

On the subject of the crobos nationality, They look like russains to me, look at the lil helmet/hat, reminds me of russain winter hats, same with the darklones, the heavys hat makes it seem oriental to me.

They were designed to look a bit samurai-esque.

The guy with a plasma gun has a weird circle visor thing, and the one with a machinegun has a differently coloured visor.

I love this guys, my only issue is those weak legs, they get blown off pretty easliy.
I feel like the armed ones are weaker than the normal ones.

Oh well it doesn't take long to draw a helmet sprite so I just decided to throw a different helmet on each one to add a bit of variety to your army. They are the same unit though.

Since we're undecided on CRobo nationality, CLEARLY they had one British parent and one Russian parent. Darklones do look Japanese. Now we need an African pack and a Middle Eastern / Arabian pack. (It would be awesome to see a camel and elephant with a clone riding them. Amirite?)



[on-topic]I'm also a bit curious of two things. I seem to remember some huge-ass CRobo (well not really huge like the MPAM but it was much bigger then a clone) in the old pack and the classic CRobo rocket- are you gonna bring those back? :3
