All terrain (foreground) is outlined in black, all back-wall is gray. I think x-wrap would detract from the gameplay. I'm thinking a very elegantly detailed cathedral that's been bombed out and ravaged by battle. Space marines must hold the ground until reinforcements arrive. The current ork activities would play very well on this kind of map since many of those deployed don't have jetpacks and could advance over flat terrain very easily. Considerations i've made when drawing: Those holding the church would have reinforcements dropped through the hole in the roof, but to keep attackers from dropping on top of the building i think dropzones should be limited such as they are in the sketch. Also, the longer the battle lasts the more the floor under that hole will be worn down, so i think making the top few layers of pixels out of a ridiculously strong material like "test" would help a lot. I also think that trenches and barbed-wire fences might be a cool addition to what's already there. The barbed wire could be on the back layer, i dunno.

 Re: 40k Orkz Final
Allen, I really like that mock-up. Maybe throw in a few sandbag emplacements just outside the cathedral, multiple redoubts along the inside, and a last stand on top of the tomb of some forgotten martyr or saint, just to give the player a sense of gaining or losing ground.

Wow.. Awensome work. When I and my freind started to play first time with these dudes + space marines we both falled off our seats. So nicely done mod. I just hope this wasn't really the final release. Please don't stop working with these guys!

 Re: 40k Orkz Final
Yeah, Guard done properly- maybe Eldar or the Necron as well- would cap off the set quite well. Remember a million builds ago when some guy released a stand-alone complete Halo conversion?
Yeah.

 Re: 40k Orkz Final
I see there is a possibility for a CC WH40K modding community. It's already like exist (Ork-Gothic and Ivan21 is making two mods balaced with each other)
