Alright, let me break it down: if I make a sniper rifle, it will be for armor piercing, not for killing the ♥♥♥♥ out of everything. Since I can't DO armor piercing yet, I'm pulling the sniper rifle. Or, at least, I'm commenting it out. Uncomment it if you wish.

What if you put the emitter inside the bullet? That way it would only do damage if it goes through something. That might not even work, but you should try it.

Hey Darlos, awesome mod, I've been following it since build 18 now But here's a request: could you make the material the magazines are made of somewhat less robust? Those things tend to pile up when I'm defending a base or something and it'd be good if my clones could just crush them like grass or shells casings.

Actually, I've been thinking of just making it so they disappear or disintegrate or something, though I could definitely tone down their material. I made it really strong for some reason, even though they don't get hit by anything. But yeah. The guns don't eject casings, and also the drop pod disintegrates, all so those using them never leaves behind a trace of their passing. I should probably do the same thing with the magazines, for the sake of continuity. And yeah I agree, the magazines are annoying. @everyone: Also, I totally pimped out the first post. Cool huh?

You should make some sort of DS Specialized Digger. Because: 1. It leaves behind traces of dirt 2. It looks plain random to have a regular digger.

I already suggested he should have some sort of directed charge for digging into bunkers. @Darlos If my idea with the emitters work, could you make me a rifle that uses it?

To me, the way you have the drop pod now, with a completely static 'heat' effect, doesn't work very well. The glowing golden one before looked better with that glittering effect. Furthermore, the heat looks way too uniform and symmetrical for a pod that's just hurtled through the atmosphere, not to mention that single, albeit somewhat blunt, peak in the center. I really feel that the old, bulky one looked better. Also, would you consider making them a tad heavier for a bit more penetration?

No, its staying the same. Though I might add the glittery gold colors back to it... if I can figure out which ones those were. alaifain wrote: Darlos9D wrote: @everyone: Also, I totally pimped out the first post. Cool huh? Those are from when I was in Japan for a year. But lets try to stay on topic. We can take it over to general chat if you want.

Maybe a DSMT (DarkStorm Military Technologies) Mech? Almost every faction has one now.

You know, the more I think about it, the more I realize that my faction really isn't about big scary ♥♥♥♥. Its about being unseen, very far away, and protected by shields and automations that shoot for you. My units will become scary when they're running around with a force field and a cloaking device, they're armed with some powerful ranged weapon, and they're still as fast as usual.
