Thank you everyone for all the encouragement!
Just to set the record straight I may have had a lot of practice at spriting but when it comes to full scale digital painting Prom is a far more accomplished artist than me.
I've spent a lot of time studying how to make dynamic effects look pretty, I'm glad you like them, I'll be making much more advanced special effects when the next build comes out.
I'm trying to refine my sense of game design so the overall feel of the mod is more important to me than any one part.

PREEETTY much. also, if someone makes a super actor, someone'll make a supergun to kill the super actor, so they'll respond with a super-awesome actor, etc. and then the default soldiers become useless.

The laser is the only really original gun, and the actors are just varying degrees of armor. This is a GOOD mod but to say it is the best mod ever is like saying CC is the best game ever. It's done well, and it's got all the right details, but it is not THE best ever. Seriously though, it's good. Not the best, but very good. It may be the best/second best/something like that mod for B20, but not the best ever.
