So yeah, sorry about not updating when i told you i would, but err... Things came up. But at least i'll be able to put in another weapon for the MARS soon, which i chose to call the Plasma Destroyer... Basically, it's a supersized Exterminator, which will blow up in several powerful explosions, and leave that area quite dangerous to stay in for a good while. Maybe it will also trail several explosions as well, but i have yet to decide that. In any case, it's going to be pretty goddamn dangerous.

Well, mostly in the sense that the blast can easily mush you as well as your enemy if you're too close. It's safe to fire though. Sorta. It's almost ready for beta testing, so it should be available to you in a few days. It also has this awesome glow on the tip which goes out when you're reloading :3 There's still that little issue about holstering though, but at least it's only a brief flash. Oh yeah, before i forget, the glows will burn your eyes out. Twice.

Oyesh, while I'm here, have you considered a more accurate, standard, and less extravagant weapon for the MARS, like a machine gun or sniper? The machine cannon is a bit slow to use as a reliable standard arm, especially with the splash damage that kills my own unites, along with the bullet spread on the shotgun which covers a lot of area in medium range.
Also; if you plan to make a full-blown faction, neb some defense turrets and non-humanoid robots (like drones and weird hybrids of vehicles and stuff.)

It is a very tough robot, y'know. But at least the Plasma Destroyer will be very harmful if you're too close. I don't really have anything planned, but who knows, maybe something will pop up. Maybe like, a gatling rifle... With each round being a small shotgun blast in itself, without too much spread... That would make for a pretty deadly hailstorm of bullets, without endangering your allies too much. And maybe some sort of cannon that fires a single ethereal shot that will suck in and kill anyone who gets near... Yes, good idea. Singularity Cannon. Maybe it should phase through terrain as well... *AWKWARDLY LOUD COUGH* Umm, yeah. Many possibilities for an actor of that size.

Speaking of a robot of that size, how about making a dispenser for the MARS. Kind of an actor cannon that produces light robots. MARS sure looks like a planetary invader; it might make sense for it to be able to produce forces. Plus, It could save on all those deaths from the beacons.

It's damned powerful right now, but it doesn't have a very large area. Touching the singularity means instant death to anyone, so it can cut a nice curve through a large enemy force. Unfortunatly, it can also have grave consequences for the user, as the singularity starts pulling instantly. I have seen several occasions of the MARS blowing up directly when firing. So i can choose between two things: 1. Use much time to fix it, or 2. Say that playing with singularities is dangerous buisness. It is likely that i'll do both, to keep things balanced. I also need to find a way of making it phase effortlessy through terrain without giving it a ridiculous mass. Or? Singularities tend to be damned heavy after all... There's not as much suck over it as one would think, but it's hard to get a decent suck without making people explode
