Named after the company that is legendary for destroying well loved cult classic games.

On the mod: The sprites look spectacular, great mod, keep it up son.

That one was pretty good, but started as a very bad mod. Divex made it, and it was bad. No trails, no flaming shells. But he photoshopped his pictures so it looked like he had it. Then Grif yelled at him. The result was a good mod, with smoking shells, explosion effects, and flaming shells.

Forever proving that I ROCK.

No, but, really.

That thing was way too small.

The ideal "artillery" turret would be at least twice the size of that.

Well, I know Jox talked about a repaint. Would this be better? Bear in mind I'll have to repaint the current jibs too.

Fits much better with the coalition stuff.

That tank... That would be kickass. But is there a good way to pull off a tripod?

There are four legs, but the one to the left and the rear is hidden behind the rest. That said, pulling off two weapons seems iffy. Also, that thing is so complex it's scary. One step at a time.

I'll see about finishing up the repaint.

Finished the repaint. I also added some subgibs, though I don't seem able to get it to break apart on impact with the ground. Anything I can do about that?

Ah, okay, that did it. I'll eventually get some proper gibbing done. I'm planning on adding some rather explosive bits to the dorsal engines.

That giant walker/spider Mecha is really something to ogle at.

On topic: I'm really digging the style of this Dropship, and I intend to thoroughly and repeatedly smash into opposing troops with it, just for the fun of it.

I'm glad you like the aesthetic. I know it looks mean enough you just HAVE to use it to kamikaze things. I took a break from gibbing to sketch something. I'd love to hear what you guys think. I intend to keep it within CC balance terms (that means no giganto-epicness.) That doesn't mean that cannon won't be appropriately devastating, however.

Brainstorming a name atm. I don't want to give it something overly dramatic like "Destructolator," "Opressor" or somesuch. I'm trying for a good military-esque name, hence a name as innocuous as Flamingo.

really digging this dropship. nice design, kickass sprite and it's big 'n hefty but not uber and indestructable. i'm really glad you are adding gibs.. looking forward to seeing the sub-gibs.

about the gibs, though. i think they need more mass. they bounce off of certain actors without actually damaging them, dealing much less carnage than, say, the rocket MK1 gibs. a ship this big should have a bit more crushing power.. i for one would not want one exploding over my army.

are you gonna make the hatch doors gib, also? they're certainly bigger than regular dropship doors, i think they should break into pieces when they hit the ground hard enough.

i need to make a (real) dropship....
must... resist.. need to make actors... need to do my final projects for art school..
