Auto Updater
I was thinking the other day how nice it word be to have Cortex Command update automatically, so I would not have to check the Dev Log every week to see if a new build has been released (I'm not lazy, but I thought for the final game that it would make the game look more user friendly). A little box would pop-up and inform you a new build is ready, and if you would like to download it. It could also be turned off in the main menu. Does anyone else think this should be implemented?

No.
Because, if you weren't an absolute moron, you'd notice that you could use either the RSS feed, or the automatic email feed system.

Re: Auto Updater
I gotta go with Grif on this one. I have it set up to alert me via Email. And whenever I got an email, MSN informs me. Then I can even download the newest build FROM the open email, and if necessary, open it further to link to the comments. It's all easy.

Re: Auto Updater
It would be nice if CC switches to more incremental patches, but I don't think that will be necessary due to the nature of the game.

Re: Auto Updater
It would be awesome if Data would add SVN so he wouldn't have to make 1000000 builds to fix every single bug.

Re: Auto Updater
The SVN is more of a hassle than it is worth it. Why fix something that's aint't broken?

Re: Auto Updater
Once the game comes out it will be finished enough that it won't need regular patches. The only new stuff will come through mods.
