Post Cortex Command and Wine
Has anyone got this running under Wine? I tried but it gets and error saying it can't initiate Audio. I took out the "InlcludeFile....Sounds.ini" in the Index.ini, which it thought would stop it from trying to use sound but the error remains. I might do some more testing later but right now I really can't be bothered.

So, has anyone been successful?

I keep getting an error that says this:

"Abortion in file .\System\DDTError.cpp, line 100, because:

Assertion failed: Failed to open data file 'Base.rte/Settings.ini'!

The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp' "

I keep trying to look for that .cpp file, but I can't find it anywhere...

What is the right place, then? I just searched for "linux" and saw this... And the error only happens when I run the game through wine...

Well, how else am I supposed to play it?

EDIT: Ah, I see the confusion... What I meant to say is on my computer, which needs wine to run Windows executables, it doesn't work. On any Windows computer, it does.
