The story as reported by Trans-Galactic News X-43 follows;
"After a recent upgrade of the universe as we know it, scientists made a remarkable and astonishing discovery. When high pressure or a sudden impact exerts enough force between two objects, occasionally one will exhibit an effect that has been termed 'Quantum Blink'. Although details are not publicly available, it seems that objects colliding at high speeds will actually transport themselves, in an instant, from the point of collission to a place up to 15 meters away. Few specifics are know as to what causes this phenomenon, however one theory is that when high amounts of potential energy build up within an object, it causes interfering wave patterns between the spectral lines, or 'Threads', of the universe. Overlapping energy patterns may cause material at the place of the Blinked object to transpose itself with the material at the point of destination.
"However, one scientist; a Dr. Conspi Ras C., has another, even stranger hypothesis. He claims that the very fabric of the universe itself has been changed, and that this strange behavior of matter is simply a 'bug' in a type of new 'advanced physics'. According to Conspi, this change in the nature of our reality was brought about by changes in the universe's information code, brought about by overflows of energy from an alternate plane he calls the 'Data Realm'. He even goes as far as to claim that this could be the result of some 'Advanced Being' tampering with our physical laws from a higher level of existence. While few agree with his theory, the fact still remains that this phenomenon is somewhat of an enigma in our ever-growing bank of scientific knowledge."
