Cortex Command - Talk tha stuff
This topic will be a place where you can discuss stuff about Cortex Command instead of making new topics just post in here.
This place is mod free meaning that no one are gonna say "Lol, a mech? You can download it here, blah blah blah" or something in that direction.
Not one word about mods please.
Something you could start to discuss about.
-Water in CC
-Should we have skeletons in CC?
-Zombies
-Space wars
-Vehicles (Tanks, buggys etc.)
-Mechs
-Grapichs
-Sounds
-Music
No question is stupid, and people please don't flame in here.
Don't comment this topic please.

Mmmmm... about the skeletons, I didn't like them in the first place. They're just plain useless. Though Data said in the dev log that he's going to replace the old placeholder data with new things. Does that mean the removal of them?

i think water would be awesome. it could be like a sea of loose particles that interact with you kind of like this game.

Yeah! Thats awsome!
And it should be easy I think.. Just to make the particles collide, but what about the lag?

hmm maybe it could be static untill its touched. would be awesome for a dam level where if you blow up the dam it all comes out like a tidal wave.
i also think they should improve explosions so they look fuller if you know what i mean, instead of just a few thin lines with the gibs on the end
(if there are any that look like the one thats in my pic then i havent seen it)
plus when they are made fuller with more particles thay lag like sh*t
o.o.o. one more thing they should put like springs and stuff into the physics engine so you could make like a trebuchet for like a castle seige mod.
ahh im done

Is it necessary to have a thread for generally discussing the game when this entire forum section covers that?

You got very good ideas, I like the dam idea!
And water could be static until touched yes, it's a pretty good idea.. And it would reduce the lag.
Explosions are also lame, but that is possible to fix without messing with the engine.
Springs would be awsome! Think about the possiblites!
Buggyes!!
We could also flood enemies with water, maybe but it in a canister carried by a dropship then dropped inside a base flooding the base!

It will be fun when Data makes working doors, and think about water and working doors!
If you have a big base and it's flooding you can close doors so you keep the water in some rooms!

I'll comment on the topic as I wish, as it's on topic. This is what the forum is for. There's no reason to constrain it to one topic.
