Mod Profiles @ Moddb.com
Cortex Command has just been added to Moddb after seeing how moddable it was and the active community
You can host your own profile there for any one of your mods - can also post front-page news. Thought it might come in handy..
Anyway, I'm going to start modding now myself. Cya guys around!

How do you add a mod? The link that says go here to register a mod just brings me to the registration page...even after I've logged in.
Edit: I see, this site isn't really for the mods we make, but more for total/partial conversions.
Edit: Nevermind, I'm uploading my first mod for it...damn 500 character description.

Nahh it can be used for any kind of mod, although addons like standalone maps or skins can also be registered at Addondb.com. Anyway, you'll need a site too - don't know if they'll accept just a link to a thread.
You need to log in and go to your control panel to add a mod (top-right, under username).

I was going to add a few mods but I got bored half way through that long form.
I think this would be pretty good for large mods that contain more than one new weapon or actor, but for ordinary mods there really isn't enough to say about them to fill that 500-character description field.

Well, its nice that more people can notice CC but the majority of the mods we make are so small and puny that its not a good idea to put em there. If there would be a more general modding site for CC only with easy descriptions and downloads and such, then it might work. But I prefer forum as we are doing it now.
But still I prefer to put the mods forum link in moddb so people can come here and browse mods very easy. Forum format ftw!
Btw, Nfsjunkie could stick his ginourmous mod there, its kinda big enough.
And ASH33's super pack too.

Well it's brother site AddonDB.com is connected, so if you have a membership at Moddb you can already log into AddonDB and submit something on the shorter side.
Anyway yeah, check it out if you're interested. I didn't register to just advertise - I can't wait to mod this fun game myself
Later everyone!
