Why is it that when you walk on a huge pile of gold you don't pick it up? I think the gold gather system could be improved .

It's to add a tactical element to the game. It's that thing that if you stop to gather funds, you could shot or crushed by a rocket.

It has to be flying through the air at you. Once it hits the ground, it becomes static and must be dislodged again.

Well like when u have ur hands out you can pickup the gold slowly that way you dont gonna spin in circles shooting.
