Really cool ideas. Have a look
Hello, I am new to this forum but not the games.
Co-Op ideas
1- Rail Destruction. One player controls the train and the other player uses the mounted-gun turret on the top of the train to shoot off the enemies. After the enemies’ forces are destroyed the player on the turret must go back in the train, because your objective is to drive the train trough the enemy HQ. My little brother also said it should go in a tunnel half way through.
2- Sky Scraper Escape - Both players start on a huge sky-scraper and stop the enemies below from destroying the bottom of the sky-scraper that will cause the top to also fall. A friendly helicopter comes just before an enemy (scripted event) comes with a huge bomb and detonates it after he activates it (he is invincible). You must go in the drop ship before it is to late. When you enter the helicopter you have to use a gun turret or your current weapons to stop the enemies from shooting down your drop ship.
Mode ideas:
1- Survival - How many enemies can you destroy? (a simple survial mode (up to 4 players) that counts your kills, survival time etc, etc.

For now, I'd label this as an awesome idea (really), but Data's busy just with co-op so such co-op campaigns as these will probably come after both co-op comes out and single-player campaigns come out, which will take a great deal of time.
So keep the ideas in some notepad file somewhere, in case you want to suggest / mod it when it becomes possible.

If this makes it through to the full-game it would be just without a doubt the best thing I have ever thought of. Nice to know everyone likes my ideas and by the way the first one was made by my brother but I made it make more sense.

Also, there would need to be a great deal of other things to be implemented between then and now, including tons of scripting, moving backgrounds, gravity for materials, and probably some other stuff.

Hey aqua, one time I played this cool game. It's called "Cortex Command". It's where you use a cortex(Brain) to control(Command) units.
So uh, how exactly does the brain part fit into these ideas If these ideas ever actually get put into the game it would be a long long time from now. Hell, we can't even mod in scripted events yet. I'm sorry but reading your post just makes me think that you're playing a totally different game at first, but I guess it could be useful in much much later development.

Ahh yes, creative sarcasm. These are great ideas, but I can't possibly EVER see them happening in CC...EVER. But, if they should happen, I know I'll be first to download at least one.

My ideas where for Single Player. Wait does single player have a brain, I thought they are proper missions not just a multiplayer type thing.

well, i have a question about coop train idea: The train is moving right?
And i would suggest that the one on the gunner has to shoot down incoming dropships with soldiers on
Would have been veeeery cool

The thing is I have no idea of how to make it and even if I did it would take a couple months atleast to finish. Another thing is I did not think of the train idea entirely, my little brother did.
