A lot of games would really benefit from having custom music chosen by the player. You should take the innatiative and do it for CC eh? built in mp3 players are cool.

I really don't get inbuilt mp3 players when you can have a more powerful player, like Winamp or dare I say, WMP *Spits*.

You know that you can already customize your music, right? You could make a program that would cycle through songs by renaming them to last man.mp3 automatically.

this is the background music file:
...\cortex command\base.rte\music\watts\last man.mp3

you can easily switch it with something else, just remove old music, put new in that folder, re-name new "last man.mp3" - done

He means hardcoded into your game to play whatever songs you want, but you could code it out of the game to do that. Technically.

i just use some external player to listen to music while playing CC

Same. I use Winamp.

I do the same thing, but with windows media player.

I use both, playing some wierd vocals I have on one and music on the other.
