Yeah, and you would need those damn 3D programs....

Not difficult at all, but maybe that's because I have a lot of experience in 3D gaming and modding. The biggest challenge would be getting the levels down- and Steam's Hammer would do an admirable job.

Hammer? I hear it's decent, but that would really start to turn CC away from physics.

Gawd.
I hate to flame and shat, but this is one of the most crappy ideas I have heard in a LONG time.
How will we dig in a 3-D level?
What about modding? It takes some time already, think of how complicated it will be then, and not all of us can make 3-D models. -_-
And not all of us have great computers, it's already a bit slow on mine, It'd be even worse for us with old, or slower computers.

This idea really, really, sucks.

Not all of ya' can make 2D sprites, either!

Goddammit, I almost want to make graphics for people because of how much ♥♥♥♥ you newbies pump out.

I would say no offense intended, at this point, but that's just a thinly veiled way of covering your own ass.

Edit: Newbies to (pixel)art, not the site.

@ Inane, there are more quality "models" for this game than a highly moddable 3d game I play, and the other game has like 10 times the people to do it. THe main problem is the lack of programs that can even DO 3d. Also, please stay on the goddamn topic.

Oh man, Words 3D made my brain bleed. Although in a sense that's not a good example because whether or not the concept was bad, the execution was ♥♥♥♥.

u and a squad of clones trying to attack a brain or something like that.

Psh, and you're a moderator..

Your = yours, theirs. Your piece of pie, you're eating pie
You're = you are, you're

Person 1 :D:D:D: You're very ugly
Person 2 :D:D:D: You're very stupid

Yay for grammar  (Nothing in offense, just pointing some stuff out :D)

Almost forgot, 3D CC? Hells no.

Yeah, it wouldnt work in 3d, but check out this thing http://www.advsys.net/ken/voxlap/voxlap_src.zip (run game.exe)
You can make holes and destroy the house, its kind of fun, but you wont like the graphics :)

That game gives me the chills. However, it does prove that 3-d CC digging would be possible.

That's wonderful, 1st-time-poster bumping a month-old-tread.

Other than that, 3-d cc will never come unless Data completely finishes everything he has in mind for the 2-D version, which is going to take a good long while.
