"My ideas where for Single Player. Wait does single player have a brain, I thought they are proper missions not just a multiplayer type thing."
That's why I say. There are no missions..I dunno if there'll be a mission mode implemented after the game's actually near finished.

Ok then, its dream ideas now. But if there was a way to make something like it it just would just make this the game the best game ever. Even though it is extremely cool already, just before I played for about 45 mins holding off the enemies using the bombs and a money mod I made.

2. brain mechs on skyscrapers

Yep, I just realised that the brains can be in the train and also in the drop-ship has the brain in the sky-scraper mission.
I am going to draw up the cocept of it later on today.

What if instead of a turret you actually walked around and have to struggle to stay on!

I guess. But I was hoping it to be so hard you need to be in a turret to stay alive.

good ideas but i think of thought of this. you get 3 mins to setup defences and you start out in a base and furthur outside of the base is a bunker that you can only acces from your base (and underground tunnel) until the enemy walks his way through the bunker and see how long you can hold all the waves off. and after every wave you get 1 min toget supplies (you get gold automatically for killing an enemy).
or assault mode where you have to infiltrate the enemys base. (enemys get turrets like hl1 does)(damn annoying things)

Haha, Daman, ideas are how great things are born! Sure they wouldn't be done any time soon, but just getting the ideas into Data's head may help him make the game even better. I'd love scripted events, and a mission mode with mission scene creator. I know he's planning to do a singleplayer, so it shouldn't be too hard to include a method to make stand-alone missions.
Great ideas, I'd love to see them done. It's too bad such things won't be seen for QUITE a while. Still, it might be fun to use the soon-to-be scene editor to make a level where your base is a crashed train. I support your efforts!

Yus, because in a world where brains can be kept alive by machines and liquid, and remote controlling robots from a distance with hovering dropships raining troops I'm sure trains would be remembered. Maybe a hovertrain? I dunno.

I figured it could be in a large complex where trains are still being used to ship materials from the main complex to less mining areas. (Just because they have hover technology doesn't mean it's cheaper than laying out track and using wheels.) There have already been concept arts of the brain moving in different ways, such as robots, spidermechs, etc.... The brain could be fit into a train engine.
Or, if none of that is good enough, who says every scene has to fit the plot? (For multiplayer and custom missions that is.)

Hmmmm... How about an emitter on the side of the level pumping out invisible bullets that act like wind?

Heh. I would think it would be easier to just code it, but neat idea. Probably laggy and more trouble than it's worth, though. Maybe Data can help us with it. (Though of course, right now I'm more interested in the coming updates.)
