Post Porting to mac
Ok. I know this has been brought up before but no-one has done anything.

I have a friend who uses a mac and is not very happy that he cant play CC.

I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how to port games but i have a monster pc, lots of free time, and a hell of a lot of that other stuff. Does anyone know of any porting programs and all that.

Thanks,

Rob

Just wait for Data to develop the mac version. You can't port the game yourself without the code.

Tell him to buy a Windows capable PC and make him shut up. Mac people always want everything to run on their system as well, UNIX is different from NTFS, NTFS is better then UNIX, otherwise why would the majority of the world develop for NTFS and not UNIX? -.-

All childish OS flaming aside, it really would be nice if Data would give some info on if/when he's going to port CC to other OSes. I suppose we'll just have to wait. Personally I dual-boot Linux and XP, so it's not a big hassle for me.

I wouldn't recommend trying to decompile CC though, just respect Data's work and allow him to port it when he wants to.

He said he'll port it to Mac when he's done with CC.

He said he'd be done around late summer of 2007.

I think he'll port it over once it hits v 1.0. Then pc and mac users can buy the shareware.

That's not too bad. It would definitely be worth buying, too. Has he given a price?

Nope, but you can pretty much guess that it's gonna be around $20.

Because it's probably not that easy to just decompile it and port it to Mac.
